Had a hyper Weimaraner named Cooper. Was fishing a pond when I was about 19, with a Police Officer, a Prison guard and myself……Cooper got a treble hook in his nose, broke my rod, then when he layed down so I could cut the hook out, He jerked, and stuck me, pinnin my thumb to the pointer finger. Both guys almost passed out, the officer puked….and I drove 45 minutes to Texarkana to get it removed lol. I’ve always been sceeered since then with my dog so good point about the trebles!

Do you still use the lews hypermag reels? I purchased one and seems to make noise when reeling and I just wouldn’t figure a $300 reel would sound like that.
