  1. I broke 2 props fishing the Native No Limit on Fork in 2024. Thats why I always carry spare props, an extra nut and tools to change it. I replaced both on the water in under 2 minutes and was back on the game. Lake Fork is tough on props…lol

  2. White lips are from aggression with other bass. They are Cichlids after all and they are known to mouth wrestle during spawning. It is not gentle even aquarium Cichlids do it.

  3. The problem with getting 5 of the right ones on lake fork is theres 1000 of the right ones so odds are every angler has at least 2 of the right ones …. Lake fork is the one lake I don't wanna fish in a tournament… Great video again, your kayak videos are the best of the bunch

  4. Are you fishing the tournament again this weekend at Lake Fork? I have a place a Lake Fork Marina and am looking forward to meeting some of the guys in person that I follow on social media and YouTube.

  5. Welcome to Fork, where hearts are broken every day! lol. We have a place on Fork. It’s a battle to catch em. The Florida strain bass are nowhere near as aggressive as other strains. That coupled with pressure and an abundance of natural forage to eat, it’s tough figuring out what artificial lure will trick them on any given day. Yes, tons of water snakes. Every shoreline is full of them. Also, the fish you were seeing jumping were probably turtles. The lake is loaded with them and it took me a while to decipher surface movements. Sorry the trip wasn’t what you’d hoped but glad you made it down here!

  6. No frog throw them out yes sometimes you will get a hit but….not worth the time.I have Bass fished for years.Funny story but this is how it went I got injured on the JOB so it allowed me to go fishing everyday for years and before YouTube all that I had was fishing magazines and everyone from Doug Hanna to everyone else swore by spinner baits and mostly rubber worms for the life of me I could not get a Bass to hit a rubber worm so I called B'S on a rubber worm but then a thought came to me…these guys are catching Bass on rubber worms and I am not so what did I do?I slowed my roll and thought about how would I be moving if I was a worm in the water …..mind mumbling slow I was fishing too fast. The first thing a Bass hears is that plop as waited worm hits the water and it puts them off at the very beginning large fish know that sound and immiditly go the other way what I learned to do just before my worm hits the water is to thumb the real and pull back so the bait slips into the water instead of that standard PLUNK and then just stop…tweenty seconds check your e-mail get a drink of water whatever and inch that worm foreward and you will get nailed.Big fish are like us older people it's not there first rodeo. I have won many Bass tournaments like this and another thing is go light line I fished for years with twenty pound line"winch it in"Yes you will get broke off sometimes but do the reasoning more fish on verses no bites at all I trout fish now in western North Carolina under extremely high pressure fishing and I always catch trout when NO one else does.I cannot express this strong enough no matter what kind of bait you are throwing at a fish if you are using the wrong line..well that's what they see first. I remember this from years ago if you can see it they saw it before you did because they live there everyday.

  7. Someone probably already asked or said the answer but how could they tell if you side hooked it? Do they watch everyone on video or something? I mean you did the right thing but was wondering how do they keep everyone else honest

  8. Is that a nrs Chinook jacket and how do you like it? Love your channel brother and good luck this year. I'm starting tourneys this year and just launched my channel also.

  9. Great video- Very relate-able! Anybody who has fished tournaments has had those days. I fished my but off in one tournament and after 4 hours of no bites, on a day when everyone was struggling like crazy-I got a huge 4 pounder that would have put me in the top three- Except he flopped out of my boat before I was able to record him….Ill never forget that moment!!!! Thanks for the great video very cool…

  10. Do you use “side view” on your finder often in the CA deltas? If so, is it THAT MUCH MORE advantages? Does it justify the cost and battery life, especially on a yak. T.I.A
