if it makes you feel better I fished a pro walleye event last week an my last day of practice main motor would not start after 2 hrs of messing around first I pulled a trolling battery also didn’t worked I thought it could be dead to so I pulled livescope battery an nothing worked . But wait on the way back as my partner steered us down the river with kicker motor after1 hour I looked down to realize the tackle-bag had somehow pulled kill switch only half way causing me to get the motor to almost turn over confusing me more 
. It Was a Relief but at the same time I was disgusted in myself and lost half the Day
