This is what Summer Bass Fishing is REALLY LIKE! (Realistic Fishing)

This is what summer bass fishing is really like for Realistic Fishing! Its still hot outside and while the bass are somewhat active, I wouldn’t all it a sure thing. I am able to catch a nice largemouth bass early in the morning on a Texas Rig. Then another small bass, a few hours later on a tiny swimbait. After waiting out the hottest part of the day, I go back out that night. Unfortunately I can’t find any more bass. However I have new line on my reel again, so that’s good. What is bass fishing really like in the summer? It’s a challenge! #fishing #realistic

  2. Saw your last video on you using the baby brush hog I went out and couldn’t find any at my local sporting store but found trench hawgs. Man let me tell you I have had the most luck ever since buying those! In the matter of about 4ish hours I was able to get 5 bass. Most I’ve ever caught in one day. Crazy that just by watching your videos gave me confidence to go out and try new ways to fish, before this for me was the ol bobber and worm technique

  3. Yesterday was kinda slow too at a new spot, but the suspense actually killed it. Got a really noice bass (not a new PB by all means) on a dropshot for about 30-40 minutes of casting. I had to reset up my Dropshot rig before that, due to a big fish breaking off the previous setup.

  4. I hadn't been out much over the last month because of work and the weather. It had been stupid hot, humid, and the water was down because there hadn't been tons of rain. Then that hurricane sent a ton of storms up here. I was out fishing in the rain with my trusty raincoat and the fish were actually hitting a bit. I missed a gigantic pickerel and landed a few bass (~2 lbs), a few brown bullheads, a crappie, walleye, and ended the day foul hooking a 20 lb carp in the tail that absolutely killed my wrists. It beats a quiet day in the blistering heat though. This is probably the best it'll be for the rest of the year though so I can't complain. I was hoping you'd wind up landing something bigger later in the day. Maybe next time. It would have been hard to upstage that little monster micro bass you got. Lucky it didn't spool you haha.

  5. When you get hung up, if you pull your line just above the reel and release it like a bow and arrow sometimes it will pop it right out with the recoil. Nice vid as always! Keep it realistic!

  6. Wild fires out here in Oregon are no joke. had one near my home lake that shut it down for 5 days.. It truly is the dog days of summer for sure! Keep it up man. Still good stuff to watch, even if you don't catch much!

  7. Thanks for always KIR!

Taking the yak out first thing tomorrow with a buddy… Hopefully ill get something if not, floating around will be a good start to the week!

Stay cool and beat the heat!
