Went out with @reidangling to fish a called clear river in middle Tennessee. I caught one today on a keitech soft plastic swimbait and Tyler got a couple on a jointed swimbait. We saw huge fish all day with several following our lures but not biting. It was an intense day and really fun to go for these fish.

hybrid stripers, the ones we have at the Susquehanna Dam are wider. Gig ones are about 12 inches wide!
Too much talking
PLEASE EVERYONE THAT KNOWS DO NOT SPOIL WHERE IT IS. IT WILL DESTROY FISHERY
There’s some true giants in that river, popularity has hurt it some
Wow

If you are going to release fish you need to do it right with barbless hooks and no net no hands on once you handle them take pictures you knock scales off and mess up the slime that protects them
I’m from Texas, around what time of the year would be good to clear the calendar for a weekend of this? Just now finding out about these Tennessee giant striper
Are you in GA brother? Damn that was a nice haul!! I enjoyed this!
Bigin
Hey bud, where was this located at?
Real nice fishery and a good catch on the body of river and system.
You are so loud . Not wonder y’all didn’t do any good
Not small one CT regs are 28 to 31 inches now keepers I've caught 6lost 3 ….3… 30 inchers but other 3 were bait for your fish

epic trip!! i gotta make it up there soon!
Was this the Cumberland river?
Caught two today fishing a dark water channel with a silver spoon. Both of them together wouldn't have been the size of that one though. Awesome video.
That clear water and throwing around all
Those log jambs…..phukin rad man….
I used to love catching Striped bass in the CHATTAHOOCHEE. They are so fun to catch and the fight is amazing.
God Bless and GO KATS!!!!!!!!
Wow that river doesn’t look big at all for those cows amazing!! Here in Philadelphia we fish for those stripers in April for our spring run they come from the ocean and spawned in the Delaware river
Cool video
Sometimes the bigger ones will only go for live shad or blueback herring whatever foliage fish is in your water.
This river is literally 10 mins from my house going stripper fishing Monday…
Appreciate the nice clean video that I can watch with my kids! Nice Fish!
where is this place?
Nets are bad for big fish guys…that precious slime coat is like out epidermis. Take it off and it leads then to infection, especially when they are in warmer water (60-65 degrees in the summers). Great fishing though!
What a great day fishing, thanks for sharing. I really also appreciate your sportsmanship and the handling of the fish. I always like to see anglers reviving the fish on release.
Just to point out at 4:18 when you hook up to your first fish with the impact kietech swim bait. Notice how you were simultaneously jigging and reeling at the same time that’s probably why you got your bite. Up here in New England where I fish for the Atlantic strain of stripped bass I commonly use the impact Shad’s. I would say I fish the shad liked you did at 4:18, 99% of the time. Rarely do I get bit on just a standard retrieve. I would also say that in this area that’s a very common technique for soft plastics and jig heads. Great video love me some freshwater striped bass!
Where’s this at I live in tenneseee and want to go here.

DOBYNS FTW
I'm sure you already know but skipjack is the way to go for the biggins. Sucks you can't walk in at the Gallatin Steam Plant anymore. Sure did use to be fun catching them there in the winter.
