I am looking to upgrade my fish finders. It will be awhile before I can do so but was trying to make a decesion between the Huminbird solix mega SI 12 or the Lowrance HDS Carbon 12. I am curious do you or any of the guides that you know use the 3D unit on your Lowrance units? if so I want to know when anglers would use that feature over the typical side imaging? I cannot seem to find anyone that has used that feature so I am wondering if its just not worth the extra money.
