Lake Fork Bass Fishing: High, Dirty, Spring Water!

One of the things that always keeps me interested in bass fishing, especially here at Lake Fork, is just how many curveballs mother nature can throw you! Right now the lake is certainly going through rapid changes in color, levels, and the type of cover the fish are relating too. Today I take you along with me as I try to figure out all the new variables and put a few Lake Fork bass in the boat. Thanks for watching!

  1. Really enjoyed your video, I'm heading to rayburn for a few days Friday. Hope to catch them up in the bushes. Only thing I would like to see is better audio, really hard to hear what you saying over the wind. Keep up the good work buddy

  2. I know you love that white chatterbait, but for something a little different, consider that small swimbait on a weedless underspin like the Owner Flashy Swimmer. That's one of my absolute favorite ways to smash'em.

  3. Billy, seeing you complain about a day like that hurts. I’m a experienced fisherman and went out two days in a row with my lake like chocolate milk and caught zero fish. You caught multiple here in tough conditions. That’s a success! 👊🏻

  7. Talked to a guy today that is going to fork for the big bass tourney. He said his buddy told him to get a 80x and a smash stick. I said your buddy must watch yourlakeforkguide. Lol

  8. Fished Cypress Springs yesterday for 5 hours and got one bite. Tough. Cold and muddy. 55-57. Hopefully by this Saturday it will be warmer and better. In the last hour I found a bunch in 15-20’. They are ready to move up.

  9. Lake Hamilton has been on fire. 17-18 a day to bad the larges is only 6.5lbs. Wish the lakes up here were half as good as down there. Love the videos keep them coming.
