Day 1 was cancelled due to high winds, so we fished for 11 long hours on a still windy Lake Fork to decide who was the 2025 Bassmaster Kayak Classic Champion. My day did not go quite as planned, but for having never even seen the lake and not getting to cover much of it due to the weather conditions in practice, I was still happy with how I was able to find the right area and catch some of the right fish to be competitive.

When it comes to finding bass, are different lakes in different states any different from Kansas lakes or are they all pretty similar?
