Bass are not deep, it’s deoxygenated the lower it goes in September, the deepest you should fish is 15-10 feet, lower than that they’ll die. Fish crainkbaits, or things that have lots of action in the water, Imamate shad, there are tons of shad in the shallows for September, shallow Alabama rigs work very well. A slow jig is a good snack. But the shaky head is the best in my opinion on the rocks.
I would benefit from seeing conditions/top performers at the end of the month. Great stuff BassGeek!
I like using hardbaits in September 🤔 I just seem to get more bites on those baits, this time of year! Like square bills and jerkbaits, specifically 👀
Good stuff bud. Enjoyed meeting ya on Douglas this week.
Hey I dig that idea. Tell at end of the month what worked for you. For like a log. I wanna start a log calendar and catch a fish every day of the year and what I caught them on, temps, conditions so on. Top 5 still working for me swimbait, Dropshot, Shakey head, chatter bait, lipless #100percentwatchsquad
Your way is much better! That's advancing the game.
I like the post month recap idea. Just please include what conditions you had that month. Dry vs rainy, temps (air and water), locations on lake, etc.
Both!!
I say do both Hank. As followers its a win win for us. Another awesome video and you rock also brother 🎣🔥

Great info Hank. I don’t care which way you do it. If you do it at the first of the month you are probably going off of the last year. If at the end of month you know it worked. So either way is fine. #100%watchsquad
Nicely done Bassgeek. I'd like to see what worked as opposed to what should work. Swimbaits are working for me.
Definitely coming out, and see what the fish are actually hitting on!
Great run down!
#100percentwatchsquad I think maybe a before and after. Pick some baits at the start and at the end of the month compare what worked and what didn't. I don't know of anyone else that is doing something like that.
Thanks for sharing Hank
Been loving the wake baits, got a few custom ones and have been slaying them the past few weeks on em. Also loving the headbanger spitfire right now along with the trick worms.
I like going shallow and Texas rigs slow and enjoying the day. #100percentwatchsquad
Struggled this week on nickajack but we got chick coming up so we’ll bounce back I think.
I’d rather know what worked in your area. Great video Hank. Congrats to the winner
Hey Hank, I like the idea of mixing it up. The what, where & why it worked for me route could be useful to us geeks. Fall is here & bass are moving. My baits are usually flukes, jerks, multi willow blade spinnerbaits & D8/D10’s #100percentwatchsquad👊
At the start of the month so we know what to try. Great video.
I think at the end is a pretty cool idea especially for the guys that fish moving water some factors that influence the bite like a good fall rain or a prolonged drought
Going in is better!! And the Missile Baits jig has been killer so far!! So has a Missile Baits 6.5" Quiver weightless Texas Rigged.
You should do both , what should work top 5 and what did work . September is a great time to throw a walking bait and a wakebait . Spinnerbaits , Squarebills , Chatterbaits all typically catch bass in Massachusetts in September. Yesterday a spinnerbait got the most bites today a Chatterbait and spook got it done . #100percentwatchsquad
Great idea Hank not what you think will work, but what did love it🥰
Hey Hank!! I like the videos on what to use that month at the beginning. It kind of gets me thinking about some baits I should be tying on for that particular month. These videos are helpful for sure especially if you have a 1000 different baits like I do. 😊
Well. I would like both. What you think might work and then go over what was successful. It doesn’t have to be 5 of each it might be more or end up less or wished you you would have tried a different bait or technique. Thanks Hank. Good as always. #100Watchsquad!!
How's that hannibal mask on that underspin?
fish in my lake would laugh at me 😂
I you going out that's what I want to know fresh corn in
The past 2 weeks Reaction Innovations Smallie Beaver has been my go-to.
