Join me for a recap of the Foothills Kayak Angler Trail’s bass fishing tournament at Lake James. With this being the last event of the season, I was sitting on the bubble spot and knew I had to catch at least 42 inches to qualify for the Tournament of Champions (TOC).
I had to leave early for Texas to prepare for the 2025 Reel Heroes event at Lake Fork, so my goal was to secure a quick early limit. Things didn’t go as planned, but I ended up catching three decent fish, bringing my total to 45 inches and locking in my spot for the TOC.
