Lake Fork Fall Bass Fishing In Crazy Winds…. Again

Took out the winner from our seminars and wouldn’t you know it the post frontal conditions and the wind were out of control. It got so bad the first day we couldn’t even fish most any area on the lake so we tried again and had darn near the same luck and same conditions. That’s fishing sometimes though and on this channel you get real info and real results every time.

  1. I enjoy your videos and the info you share. Just an honest question Billy. When does it become your customers responsibility for bad weather conditions? I understand this guided trip was a prize but does a customer have the option of canceling and getting a refund and if so what conditions warrant that ? Thanks.

  2. Since the Monticello Power generation plants are shutting down in January 2018 are they still generating power to keep the lake water warm? It's a shame they couldn't just convert the plants to Natural gas to keep people working. I want to fish that lake in November when I'm in East Texas but not sure the areas where the big fish hang out. Konawa lake in central OK was a lot better when power was being generated on a consistent basis. It's still a good bass lake but OG&E doesn't keep the power generation going on daily. It used to be a fight in December, January and February getting in the hot water outlet. Konawa is a gas power plant. Sooner lake north of Stillwater, Ok is a big coal fired OG&E plant I'm betting it'll be closing with all the environmental movement for clean energy. I haven't fished sooner lake since my time at Ok State it has some monster bass and stripers.
