Mike, it's unfortunate that most of this world is lost. They don't care how much time you put into bringing this content. They don't care that it costs you money to have a Youtube channel. They don't care you are consistent with your content. They don't care you are an expert. They don't care you've spent your life achieving all your knowledge. They don't care you are of solid moral and ethical character. All they care about is getting free stuff. I suggest making your free public subscription a private subscription for $1.00/month (something they can handle). Then every quarter, raise the price another $1.00, until you get it up to $10/month. You won't have to feel so "taken advantage", and it will acclimate your subscribers to becoming a member of the best lake fork Youtube channel out there.
Personally, I had a public blog where I was just trying to help others, and all they want is more and more of my time and free stuff. They weren't even thankful for what they've received for free. It's their nature. So, I culled my subscribers, and have gotten rid of the chaff. Now I don't feel so "taken advantage". Getting rid of the chaff is a Biblical philosophy. Believe me when I say this, not everyone gets into heaven. So, not everyone is getting onto my private blog, either. I wish you well in sorting the chaff from the wheat, here on your channel. I hope someday you only have only thankful, paying subscribers. It's the only way to go.
