Went out after work to continue testing out the lake fork live magic shad in preparation for my tournament this coming Sunday. The air temp was 58 as we have a cold front moving in tonight but the water was still extremely warm from the past few days it being 70 degrees out. We managed to connect with a few decent fish in the hour and a half we were fishing but nothing giant.
I had the lake fork live magic shad in the boot tail version in the magic shad color tied on one rod and the live target hollow body sunfish on the other rod.
I set johnny up with the kietech swing impact fat on a swimbait hook on one rod and the boo ya baits smaller pad crasher on the other rod for him.

Awesome. I bought some of the live magic shad today! Can’t wait to try them out especially after seeing your video! Thanks for sharing!!
what size hook did you use on the live magic shad? I just bought some and wasn't sure if I should get 4/0 or 5/0 and also if EWG was necessary.
Beautiful area and nice fish for cold water. Great job guys!
