Pond Bass Love Stickbaits

There are literally bass in just about every pond in Florida! Josh from BlacktipH and JT from the Hook and Arrow Podcast and me are pond hopping just catching bass in little ponds off the side of the road. These calm ponds with a lot of vegetation are perfect for throwing stickbaits like this LFT lures Hyper Stick. It’s always a go to bait when fishing in the spring and post spawn in ponds and calm waters in lakes.

  2. Hey J, i read that little blurb in the bottom of the vid about culling small fish to see growth in smaller ponds, could you elaborate on that? Alot of the smaller bodies of water where I live (not terribly far from where this video was shot) have infinite smaller bass but those same ponds 4-5+ pounders are a rarity.

  3. I love pond hopping here in Florida, I catch warmouth, spotted bass, large mouth, oscars, mayan cichlids, tilapia, bullhead ctfish, gars, all types off panfish, even sailfin catfish all within a 10 mile radius of where I live
