  1. Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good….however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.

  2. FWIW seen a guy suggest to use 3/8" heat shrink on the egg sack of the Senko to replace the collar to help your worm last much longer and your hook stay in place very well
Haven tried it yet but will very soon

  3. I also think that pitching your senko just perfect as to not making a big splash but more of like something has dropped from the reeds is a huge factor In bites as well.

  4. Went to a lake that I don’t really know well, saw some suspended bass couldn’t really catch them. Went to the reeds and pitched a senko on a light wire gauge to really slow the fall rate down and just smashed them caught about 8 and lost 3.

  5. Hey any idea as to why I’ve been putting 3,4,and even 5 pounders in one lake that full of crappie bream and yearling bass but I never catch and thing but one to maybe a two pounders. The lakes are 15 acres each and one drains in to the other. Crazy i caught a 11 pounder last year but nothing big this year. Strange.

  6. Great tips, thanks. Negative on the hook. Why are you using a hook with a keeper??? The point on the unnecessary keeper will just grab weeds and ruin casts, especially crawling senkos over weedy lay downs in standing timber. There are many better options for where I fish. Or just tear off the keeper with pliers.

  7. I'm going to have to try fishing with roughed up plastics. I've done pretty well using YUM Dingers for years and have caught more mass on those than any of my other lures for sure. Here in Louisville, sometimes it takes until mid to late April for the weather to consistently stay warm enough to use them but they do for sure land me lots of bass.

  8. 😂 LET ME GET THIS STREIGHT. THE PEOPLE THAT ARE TRYING TO NAIL TRUMP FOR PAYING STORMU DANIALS ARE THE SAME PEOPLE RUNNING DRAG SHOWS IN FRONT OF MINORS WITHOUT PARENTAL PERMISION😢😢😢😅😅😅😂😂😂

  9. Roughing the bait up really does work! I found it by accident long time ago from throwing stick bait's in my pocket and taking off down the bank all day and some got all roughed up and did produce bites and have been doing here and there every since I stumbled across it

  10. Randy have u ever used clear shrink wrap for ur wacky rigs or Neko thats all I use because. It's almost impossible to see on ur plastics unlike bands and works just as good if not better. You can rig whatever way u prefer sideways , vertical or whatever and is pretty cheap overall vs bands.

  11. Dude said an o-ring acts as a "visual strike deterrent". LMAO. This is why I come here…for the comedy relief. Randy, I get you just care about views. But have SOME shame, my goodness.

  12. I do so good on a trick worm weightless with just a barrel swivel I have a hard time putting it down, that does sound deadly with that fast skitter tho.

  13. I have always used a Carolina rig Lizard in mostly green pumpkin. But not when I am fishing tidal water. Then its mostly lipless baits. I am going to plan on trying a wacky worm this April. Wish me luck!
