**How to Work the Bait**
These flukes are Texas-rigged weightless. Fall rate is about 1/2 ft per second, so you first need to graph these schools to determine what depth the fish are holding. Then, literally count seconds to get the bait to the proper depth. Once it’s there, “pop” the bait a few times to make it flutter in front of those bass. Wait a few seconds to let it fall again, then repeat.
is that guy in his underwear?
Wow, I never thought about using a fluke so deep, but obviously it works.
These fish where suspended over 30-45 FOW mainlake ridges and humps. Most of the fish we graphed were not feeding they were just hanging out. It made it hard to trigger bites. When you can get around them when they are feeding on large balls you can load the boat fast. Boat position is the key to present the bait properly
Great show and you boated some really quality bass. Were the fish suspended in 25 feet of water or at 25 feet but in deeper water? Thumbs up. Don
Interesting videos guys, well done! You may not have caught any "giants" but you certainly had some really nice bass on the boat!
Weightless? ! How long does that take to sink 25 ft?
Nice fish but a little more on rigging would be nice? Texas rig, c-rig ?
Great video man!
