You normally have to stand behind for the line trick to work lol 😅😅
He's gonna feel that in the morning
You suck lol.
I’ve got one in the lip from a fish letting go. Flew at my face so fast I couldn’t even react. I pushed it through and cut. Who knew lips were so durable? 😂 I have also gotten one in the foot and hand. Just keep boat clean and wear shoes so you don’t put your hand on one or step on a heavy duty flipping hook like I did. I needed medical attention.
That's why I carry iodine and a super sharp knife when I'm on the water.
I would have passed straight out!
I'm sure he now has 2 cutters and a full hook trauma kit that never leaves his boat. (Should all be mandatory IMO)
When rookies don't lip bass…..
I just had this happen to me on Mother's Day… I was using a whopper plopper and then the struggle got real… I ended up cutting off the treble then pushing it through… I seen the light but I made it…lol
7:05 Ouch!!!
Man I've had them under my thumbnail. Just pull it out and stop fucking around and move on.
Been there. Last year caught a nice 8 lb bass and she shook the devil horse out and in my foot.
I just had this happen Sunday in my hand four hours in the emergency room
Omg I feel it… It's got my belly going. "It's so deep"! Look at the wire on that hook.
Watched a man try and jerk out a treble that was in his thumb once. He didn't use line but just his other hand and it slipped and got the same hook in his other thumb. Needless to say I was rolling on the deck and had tears laughing so hard.
Dang wat a trooper…for toughing through it like a champ
Been there done that Brandon I cut it of at the barb kept fishing went to the hospital got it removed now you know what the fish feels like
This dude is a stud.
I had that happen the dr used a 16g need to cover the barb and pull it out hurt so bad
This had me squirming in my chair. Had a buddy get one in the knuckle. Poor dude, but hey, at least we get a good look at the crankbait he was using 😁.
The line trick was around along time before braid why they saying the braid trick
Been there. Done that. The braid trick works great!
Ouch, this happened to my poor wife, did the same thing, pushed it thru, and then cut the wire. She winced for a few minutes, then she saw me catching small redfish every cast, … then she was fine and got back into the game. That's my girl.
Pucker factor 10 +
Do not use anything less than braid. I had a treble in my arm, buddy doubled up 20# f.carbon jerked and it broke. That was the most painful of the whole deal lol. Got braid and popped it right out. Nothing like having your arm stuck with one treble and a pissed off smallmouth going nuts stuck with the other treble digging it in deeper.
Tell me again how not using nets a good idea for tournaments… not to mention the handful of fish that get flipped into the boat and bounce off everything in the boat.
Did the same thing in a tournament!! I never knew the braid trick.. just did the plyers trick boy did that hurt coming out!!
Had to use a needle nose multi tool to yank out a treble from a whopper plopper last fall. Sucks. I felt that
Had the similar size trebel in the side of my leg last summer from a buddy. No braid trick, shoved that baby straight through and cut it off and pulled it out! Still got the video and scar from it. Not the most fun thing ever but great memories😂
I had to do the same thing but by myself after getting a bait stuck in my leg
