The Phenix Jigs are hard to come by now – try local tackle shops

Deadly combo anywhere you fish. It not a secret anymore but it still dominates.

It also catches pike as well.. I found that out the hard way 🤣
Am trying this week end. On a strike king chatter and also weightless
I got here from a forum about chatterbaits, and was watching new LFG videos at the same time
Quality old video my man.
Damn this is an old video😂😂 still enjoyed it bud
What size is the chatterbait? or the recommended size?
picked up those swim baits in black and silver shad color at bass pro shops the other day and also have a black and blue chatter bait …. thank you for the info on setup because i have been wondering what to use as a trailer on that chatter bait dude your awesome thanx for what you do man ! Wish me luck !
I used the BPS swimming shad without the skirt and did well today it's the business
This is a great tip. I had never caught a fish on a chatterbait – had no confidence in it. Watched this video and replaced the finesse trailer with a swimbait, caught two 4-5 pounders the next day.
I watched this video a couple of weeks ago and decided to pick up a few LF magic shad baits as trailers. Went out to my local go to lake and absolutely SLAMMED them. Thanks for the idea!
have you used this at lady bird?
Do you ever use finesse or trick works? that's my primary bait.
Where can I find one
This looks like a killer combo that I plan on trying at Lake Okhissa this weekend. Is that middle one the Magic Shad color, or the albino shad?
Do you ever remove the skirt? I have been using this same combo just without the skirt on a rage blade
One tip I will pass on to you all, is adding a blade decal to the backside of the shatter blade. Some times, the bass will loose interest when the bait passes by. Why???? (guessing here) The flash stops! By placing the a decal on the backside continues that flash and keeping the bass on target. I have even placed 2 different colors, just for something different, but keeping to the baits colors. Like if I am using a firetiger pattern bait, then orange and chartreuse or orange and green will be used. Where can I get these chatter bait blade decals at? There I go again, letting out one of my big bass secrets outs…check em out at: http://www.ebay.com/itm/200-Premium-Decals-New-Colors-for-CHATTERBAIT-Blades-/151027487875?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2329f09483 And no, I don't work with this individual. I just buy these from him. The one that I find works best in the colder days, is the black one. It still flashes, but not as much. I hope this tip helps you place more and bigger bass in the boat!
I get a lot of short strikes on this set up. Do you have any trailer hook solutions?
Love this video got allot of fish first time not huge but allot of them!
caught one of my biggest bass on a chatter bait.
I did something similar, Z-Man Chatterbait with a Havoc Devil Spear, most of the time I split the tail, but occasionally I dont.
Nice video Justin…can't beat a chatterbait!
Should these work well in the fall? Having a tough time catching bass in NH right now…any suggestions?
Thanks with the 3 day weekend coming up I'm doing lots of fishing I kind of stopped using chatter baits for awhile idk why just been doing more swimjigs and spinnerbaits but now u reminded me so thanks lol
Spring through Fall is the best in season
Morning time is best but can catch fish til dawn
Never thought of a swimbait as a trailer for a chatter. Always used twin tail trailers or grub. This is a must try. How would you think those Live Magic shad would hold up against a pike?
Sweet hoodie!
great video! does the color matter in clear water or muddy water, in deep or shallow water?
