  1. picked up those swim baits in black and silver shad color at bass pro shops the other day and also have a black and blue chatter bait …. thank you for the info on setup because i have been wondering what to use as a trailer on that chatter bait dude your awesome thanx for what you do man ! Wish me luck !

  2. This is a great tip. I had never caught a fish on a chatterbait – had no confidence in it. Watched this video and replaced the finesse trailer with a swimbait, caught two 4-5 pounders the next day.

  3. I watched this video a couple of weeks ago and decided to pick up a few LF magic shad baits as trailers. Went out to my local go to lake and absolutely SLAMMED them. Thanks for the idea!

  4. One tip I will pass on to you all, is adding a blade decal to the backside of the shatter blade.  Some times, the bass will loose interest when the bait passes by.  Why???? (guessing here) The flash stops!  By placing the a decal on the backside continues that flash and keeping the bass on target.  I have even placed 2 different colors, just for something different, but keeping to the baits colors.  Like if I am using a firetiger pattern bait, then orange and chartreuse or orange and green will be used.   Where can I get these chatter bait blade decals at?  There I go again, letting out one of my big bass secrets outs…check em out at:  http://www.ebay.com/itm/200-Premium-Decals-New-Colors-for-CHATTERBAIT-Blades-/151027487875?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2329f09483  And no, I don't work with this individual.  I just buy these from him.  The one that I find works best in the colder days, is the black one.  It still flashes, but not as much.  I hope this tip helps you place more and bigger bass in the boat!

  5. Thanks with the 3 day weekend coming up I'm doing lots of fishing I kind of stopped using chatter baits for awhile idk why just been doing more swimjigs and spinnerbaits but now u reminded me so thanks lol

  6. Never thought of a swimbait as a trailer for a chatter. Always used twin tail trailers or grub. This is a must try. How would you think those Live Magic shad would hold up against a pike?
