Ep. 20 | BIGGEST Highland LAKE in TEXAS | Massive White Bass | Texas Angling Tour | Lake Buchanan

Today we had the chance to go to the biggest highland lake in Texas. Yes, we went to Lake Buchanan. This lake is one of the biggest lakes in Texas and is home to some of the greatest striper fishing. We tried striper fishing but realized our luck is better spent on some schooling white bass. Finding these white bass was epic.

Using the lazer lures from Cabelas, we were able to crank in some massive white bass. These were some aggressive white bass and so fast!! The shad never stood the chance. They even made the water boil at times, something I had never seen before.

Even though the water was rough, thank to lowe boats we were able to fight the waves in our tough aluminum boat. This boat could take on pretty much anything. And it proved its worth today. These waves were white capping and yet we were still on a stable platform.

Fishing was hard until the very end when we were able to crank in a few. Had we gotten their earlier we would predict that there has been way more white bass. I can’t wait to see what other awesome fishing happens on the Texas Angling Tour.
