I wish I could have shared a video full of me catching fish, but that isn’t the way it always goes. Sometimes your day of fishing is a test of your will and an effort to keep pushing and keep trying. I feel blessed that I was able to catch my first bass in a National Tournament and boy did I have to work for it. I wanted to share some of my plan going in and a brief look at all the different things I tried to do during this tournament. If anything, I hope this inspires you to keep focused, work hard and don’t give up! #KayakFishing #HobieBOS #LakeFork

Cool video and great story! I’m on the same journey (getting healthy and learning to tournament fish), but you are more brave than I am, I haven’t stepped up to the “big leagues” yet. I subscribed, and am looking forward to seeing more of your fishing adventures! -Melissa
What storage bag is that you have your plastics in
I fished a couple tournaments last year and didn’t do well. Not that I was really trying. I fished them using one application, chatter bait. This year I’m going to study the lake, and try more applications. Start early with top water, then chatter or spinner bait, then finesse with Texas rig or whacky rigged, finally the drop shot. That’s all I got and hopefully I learn some more and catch and submit a five bass limit in each tournament. That’s my goal. But really, I just love being out there in my Cuda. 😃
First time watching your video. Nice to see a fellow Utah Woman who's passionate about fishing. ❤ it!
Long time no see!
Tough conditions! Way to stick it out and land that beauty!!!
Look at you whippin that baitcaster like an ol pro! Glad ya had a good time and caught that nice bass. Proud of ya!
Thanks for sharing. As a native Texan I know that the weather has been nothing but crazy lately and the bite has been tough to read.
Awesome video and super proud you are doing well with the Baitcaster!
Awesome video!! Fork sure isn’t the same as it was in its hay day in the early 90s
