I'm Fishing a Big Bass Tournament…

I’m fishing a big bass tournament out of a new Legend V20 bass boat I’ve never fished from, at a lake that I have fished very little. My goal is to catch the biggest largemouth bass out of all the other seven pro fishermen that are there. If I succeed, I win ten thousand dollars! It took me a while to remember how to fish in a bass tournament. On day one of the Big Bass Splash tournament, it was a challenge keeping the fish on, and even getting bites after the first few hours of the day. I was flipping for bass in bushes after having no luck fishing a jig and worm in deeper water where I had found some big bass pre fishing the day before. I’m amongst some of the best Bassmaster elite series and FLW pros out there, so I need to step up my game to catch a giant bass and bring home the cash!

  2. so was this like a half day tournament? it seemed like you were only still at your morning spot, caught a few flipping, then headed right in. Sure didn't seem like an all day tournament

  3. That is one bad ass bass boat. I love the scheme, anodized blue steering wheel accents, the led strip lights, just awesome. I love black & blue. I like it on soft plastics and I like it on boats!

  4. best thing to do start up with a local fishing group that puts on tournaments at local lakes throughout the year,, team up with someone or fish alone most the time a fee for putting on the tournament's and the fee for the tournament your fishing that day ..

  5. I know in your vid you talked about why you dont really tourney fish….

But can you make some more behind the scenes videos of you fishing a tourney? Doesnt even need to be a major circuit…just do one of the Texas leagues….or the Kayak Bass Fishing Tourney thats gonna be at Lake Fork this year! Just be the only dude fun fishing there….even though we both know youll get competitive since you were a higher level athlete!

  6. Hi Justin I'm fishing Lake Fork, this weekend any tips? I've heard that crankbaits, spinnerbaits, swim baits, and topwaters on shallow flats next to creek beds have big fish on them this time of year, is this true, if not then any suggestions? Thanks I'm a big fan, recently subscribed.
