Bass Fishing with Frogs Mid Day

The frog bite doesn’t just happen at dark. You can fish vegetation canopies just like you would docks and other shad for bass during the middle of the day except sue a frog. When the sun is hitting the lily pads, it actually create a good silhouette of the frog on top of the lil pads. Made sure to use a heavy rod and braided line when fishing frogs so you can pull the fish out.

  1. I struggle with reeling in bass. I got some on the hook a few times but it gets off before I can reel it in no matter how hard I yank. Is there a technique?

  2. I found 40lb braid tied to a swivel tied to 1 1/2 ft 12lb fluorocarbon leader tied to a frog on a 7ft heavy 6.5 :1 batitcaster will yield plenty of big bass int the muckiest off muddy padded water.
