Lee Livesay's NUMBER ONE lure for WINTER bass fishing

In this #TackleTipTuesday video brought to you by @MercuryMarine, Bassmaster Elite Series Champion Lee Livesay breaks down his favorite bait to fish in the winter off season. Livesay likes to utilize an umbrella rig with heavier swimbait heads when fish are deeper in the winter and as fish move shallower he will adjust to smaller swimbait sizes. He also modifies his umbrella rig with a Hog Farmer Hog Wobbler to give it extra action and attention.

  1. Thanks for the tips Mr. Livesay. I have to admit, i havenā€™t thrown it at Fork yet. Unfortunately I havenā€™t been on the lake in two years coz COVID and other issues. Iā€™m coming out this year. Will see what it do there!

  2. Okay I have heard from so many other guys never go heavier than 1/4 oz heads on a rig. But… the fish on my lake get DEEP sometimes, 35-50 ft. Ive struggled with the a rig cause I never feel like I'm getting it to the fish. I'm gonna try some heavier heads…
