DC and I have a few hours to fish so we hit up a random lake in Texas to see what’s up! It’s spring time and the weather has been getting warmer recently so those fish should be doing their thing making beds and preparing to spawn. I’m in the back of the boat for this one as well so this will be interesting!

Those favorite rods break way to easily and quickly. Buddy of mine bought 6 rods for the season. Not a full year I’m already 4 of them have broke from “normal weekend tourney use.” They’re not worth the money at all…. I let him try a Duckett rod and he is set for years….
6:40 is exactly why i fish Duckett rods and not lews or favorite 😛
I went to Lake of the Pines last weekend in East Texas and caught 18 fish on beds using a black and blue lunker log. My best 5 was 27 + lbs. Caught a 7lb 13 oz bass.
