Been struggling with bass here at grapevine. I have only 1 decent 5lber to show for 2 years of living in the area. Had better luck at a pond but that too is dying down. So far I've had way better luck in northern California fishing for bass. And out there I spent most of my time in the mountains fishing for trout or in the sacramento river fishing for salmon and stripers. So far not terribly impressed with dfw as far as fishing goes. And that's why I'm here trying to figure out which lake is worth spending my overly priced gas on (thanks president dipshit) and I'm boatless so that kinda further limits my opportunities. Some of the ponds have been good to me though.
Falcon lake the best come out any time would love to take you guys out
Like choke and falcon lake..
Started watching because you got your Mako about the time I got mine.. Living in Corpus I have a hard time finding a user friendly launch. That said I wish you would spend some time on local boat launches and what to look for in Areas.
Caddo, short a as in sand, is our only natural lake of any size.
