  1. I love fishing wobble/ swing heads! I fish them all the time spring through fall into early winter. With creature baits, swimbaits & worms. I throw them instead of a jig. For some reason I have a ton of confidence with them & none with a football or regular jigs. I'll have check those 6th sense out because screwlock would b nice. I haven't seen any with a screwlock.

  2. I live in Michigan and I use the swing from spring through fall . Shallow to deep the Smallmouth and large destroy it I make my own with two different hook brands from 1/4 oz to 1 oz and I also make my own soft plastics and I have baits and 6 colors they just absolutely choke ! But like you said not to many places carry the Biffle bug in store .

  3. My $.02 cents on here. Been throwing this for several years and got a couple additional points. First, as Billy stated, there are many different styles of these and they all have their time and place, but matching your equipment to the size of the hook is critical. Another thing to consider is the cast length. Remember you can cast these things a mile, almost to the point you can outcast your ability to get a good hook in the fish. Finally, I have used several different types of plastics and they all can work at times, but remember thinner is better to get a good hook through the plastic.

  4. Hey Billy it’s the PA guy. I’ve been using this for the last few years with no success! Would it be possible to do a part two and possibly show areas on the lake map, Cmap that might help me get better I started with a half ounce and couldn’t keep it on the bottom so I moved to three-quarter ounce and can keep it down there now but don’t know if I’m doing it right. Please help like you said not many people use this and that might be my ace in the hole for the last of the tournaments season Coming up. Thanks for your time

  5. I keep one tied on from very early spring all the way through fall. I have a rod that has one job in my boat and that's to throw nothing but the biffle head. I don't understand why more people don't throw it either.

  6. I live in NH and I've been fishing the biffle head for years with great success , I agree with you that nobody's uses it . Sometimes I fish it like a Carolina rig without the swivel , just a egg sinker and reel as fast as I can then stop and smalllies love it .

  7. Billy
How many rods issues are you having? I sold all lol is and went with the sixth sense and have broken all 8 within the first hour of use now. From the sensory to the lux and all in between. Everyone broke in the exact same location as well. Finally I got replacements with the new series in the army green color and hoping they’ll hold up. They feel great but very concerned with the blanks they’re using cause they never would tell me if they changed. Crossing fingers.

  8. Same girl same. Lol. I ALWAYS have it tied on. I might make 5-10 cast with it all day. Then never pick it back up 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️

  9. I have a swing head on deck all the time, but I use the Strike King one, usually in 1/2 oz or 3/4oz. It has a cobra head shape that I like. You can throw big worms on it or craw baits. With a craw bait on it I have even pitched with it.
